Oh the weather outside was far from frightful in Naples, Florida.  We enjoyed an afternoon boat ride thru the Naples Bay and spotted this beautiful sailboat (small only at a distance) with us enjoying the 80º temperatures.  The weather in Naples, Florida is the reason we live here now and year round.  The picture is taken from Keewaydin Island looking out to the southern tip of the Port Royal and Beach Estates area in the City of Naples.  This is the Gordon Pass obviously deep enough for large scale sailboats (see picture below) and the small ones too at Gordon Pass.

The famous Greg Norman hosted the Merrill Lynch Shootout at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida on Dec. 5-9, 2007.  This Pro-am tournament teams professionals and amateurs.  Tiburon Golf Club is a Greg Norman Golf Course Design.  Norman is an international developer of residential golf course communities and is a World Golf Hall of Fame member.  Tiburon has a total of 36 holes of golf divided by two 18 hole courses, The Black course and The Gold course.  The Merrill Lynch Shootout will benefit charities including the National Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Come enjoy the holidays in downtown Naples Florida as Fifth Avenue South celebrate the holidays with the annual Christmas Walk and Avenue of Lights.  Santa and the Mayor of Naples will light the Christmas tree at 6pm.  The Living Word Singers present the outreach concert starting at 6pm along with other entertainment all along the avenue.  Come enjoy the night at stop and say hello to us, Alice and Cathy Miller.  We will be serving as greeters for Living Word Family Church Singers near the Fifth Avenue Coffee Company at 599 5th Ave. S, Naples, FL  34102.  All children will enjoy until 9:30pm.
