The Naples Municipal Airport should expect record breaking flight arrivals and departures on January 24-27, 2008.  Private aircraft from all over the world will be arriving for the Naples Winter Wine Festival.  This event is the most exclusive, prestigious and successful charity wine events in the world and has raised more than 55 million for the Naples Children and Education Foundation.  One of the founding sponsors, the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort is the location for the wine auction from 11am to 5pm on Saturday.  A Wine-Down Party will be held downtown Naples after the auction.  Sunday brunch again will be at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort.  Please don't be confused, we have two.  The Ritz-Carlton, Naples has three miles of beach with sunset views of the Gulf of Mexico and was listed by the Robb Report as one of the "100 Best Places to Stay in 2006."  

The Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers is a short 45 minute drive to downtown Naples.  The International Airport has served more than 7.6 million passengers in 2006 and nearly 5.3 million passengers have traveled to and from the airport this year.  They are celebrating twelve consecutive months of record-breaking passenger traffic and are among the top 50 busiest U.
